The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has categorically refuted the paper leak rumours for the current Class 10 and 12 board exams. The board said that these reports, which are going viral on social media, are totally unfounded and aimed at spreading unnecessary panic among students and parents.
CBSE Dispels Rumors of Paper Leaks
CBSE released an official statement in response to the false reports going around on sites such as YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). The board clearly said that no such paper leaks have taken place and that the rumors are being circulated by "unscrupulous individuals" to create fear among the examinees.
"The Board has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth and impartial conduct of the examinations. It has been brought to the notice of the Board that some unscrupulous elements are circulating rumours on YouTube, Facebook, 'X' (previously Twitter), and other social media sites about paper leaks or having access to the 2025 examination question papers. These are unfounded and are made with a view to causing unwarranted panic among students and parents," the CBSE statement stated.
Legal Action Against Spreaders of Misinformation
CBSE has warned that strict legal action will be implemented against the spread of false information. The board has said that any person, including students, found guilty of spreading such misinformation will be dealt with as per CBSE's Unfair Means (UFM) rules and can also be prosecuted under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
