The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the admit cards and detailed instructions for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), scheduled for Saturday, 11th January 2025.

Key Highlights for Candidates

  1. Admit Card Availability:

    • Admit cards are available from 1st January 2025.
    • Candidates will have to download the admit cards using their CSEET Registration Number (Unique ID) and Date of Birth.
    • Recommended browsers: Google Chrome or Internet Explorer 8.0 & above.
    • Mandatory Secure Examination Browser (SEB): The ICSI requires that SEB be used during exams. Prior to the date of the examination, the applicant is supposed to download and install the SEB.

Steps for SEB Download and Installation

Step Details
1. Download Use the official link to download. Disable pop-up blockers before starting the process.
2. Installation Double-click the downloaded file "SEBInstaller-1.16.exe" and follow the prompts. Select "Run Anyway" despite any warnings.
3. Run SEB Ensure two shortcuts appear on your desktop: SEB and SEB Repair Tool. Double-click the "SEB" icon to launch the browser.

Important Exam Day Guidelines

  • Ensure a stable internet connection.
  • Check that your camera and microphone are working correctly.
  • All applications running in the background will be terminated when SEB is launched.
  • Log in using the alphanumeric password sent via SMS or email to confirm attendance.

Reminders

  • Do not uninstall SEB until the examination is completed.
  • Contact ICSI immediately in case of technical difficulties.

CS Executive Admission Test (CSEET) is the qualifying exam for CS Certification for the production of Company Secretaries in India. CSEET is typically conducted four times a year, in the months of January, May, July, and November. CSEET includes Executive, Foundation, and Professional Programme.

CSEET Eligibility Criteria

  • With a few exceptions, CSEET will now be a prerequisite exam for enrollment in the Executive Programme for all student groups.
  • On the application date, your age must be less than 17 years old. For example, If the application date is July 1, 2025, then your age must be less than 17 years old as of July 1, 2025. This means if you were born on or after July 2, 2008, you would be eligible to apply.
  • To qualify for the CSEET, applicants need to have finished Class 12.
  • To be eligible for registration to the Executive Programme, Graduate/Post Graduate applicants who were eligible to apply for registration directly will additionally need to meet the CSEET requirements.
