The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the results for FMGE 2024 December Session exam on January 19, 2025. The qualification examination conducted on January 12, 2025, will be useful to foreign medical graduates, who would have to be qualified to practice their profession in India. All the results can now be obtained on the NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.

Important Highlights of FMGE December 2024 Results

Declaration of Result:

  • The results were declared on 19 January 2025, and are accessible on the website of NBEMS.
  • Individual scorecards can be downloaded from 27 January 2025.

Technical Review and Award of Marks:

  • All questions of FMGE December 2024 were reviewed after the exam by subject matter experts.
  • One question was technically wrong, and marks were awarded to all candidates regardless of whether they attempted the question or not.

FMGE Pass Certificate:

  • The pass certificates of the qualified candidates will be given in person after verification of identity and credentials.
  • The date for the distribution of certificates will be notified separately.

Result Conditions:

  • The result is provisional and subject to in-person verification of identity and credentials.
  • The online FMGE scorecard cannot be used for getting registration with any State Medical Council; only the pass certificate will be valid for this purpose.

Important Notes for Candidates

Withheld Results:

The result of seven candidates has been withheld for the following reasons:

  • Scrutiny of Ethics Committee
  • Investigations into unfair means
  • Security clearance from MHA

Unfair Means and Ineligibility

  • Use of unfair means or detection of ineligibility at any stage, even after the issue of pass certificate, will be liable to have the result canceled.
