Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for GMCET 2025 must be in the following educational qualification:
Qualification:
- Must have passed higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks for the General category.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories, SC/ST/OBC, must have a minimum of 45% marks.
Diploma:
- Students who have a three or four-year diploma from a recognized institute and have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks are also eligible.

Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET), earlier known as the All India Media Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) is an all-South Asia Global Media Common Entrance Test that offers admission to the Undergraduate media courses. This is the Institution & University level entrance exam which is scheduled in the months of April to August, once each month, this year.
The exam is powered by edInbox, South Asia’s largest education focussed platform. GMCET was conducted by the Global Media Education Council (GMEC) for the first time in 2021.
