Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak is inviting applications for PhD programs through RET. The last date to apply for the program is February 24, 2025. The offline entrance exam will be held at Amarkantak (Main Campus) and Imphal (Regional Campus).

Eligibility Criteria For IGNTU PhD Admissions

To be eligible for admission at IGNTU, the candidates must fulfil the following criteria:-

• For Master's degree holders: At least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) are required, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Differently-Abled candidates.
• For 4-year Bachelor's degree holders: Minimum 75% marks required, with a 5% relaxation for reserved categories.
• Eligibility criteria may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional research experience or publications.

Exemptions from the entrance test may be granted to candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET (JRF) or completed M.Phil with a strong academic record.
