Indira Gandhi National Tribal University is inviting applications for PhD Admission 2024. Candidates can apply online through the IGNTU Admission portal before February 24, 2025. Selection will be based on PhD Entrance Test and Interview conducted by IGNTU Amarkantak.

IGNTU Amarkantak PhD Eligibility

• Candidates must have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
• Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
• A Relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade is provided to candidates belonging to the reserved category.
• If the candidate is employed a No Objection Certificate from the organization must be submitted for a part-time PhD programme.

IGNTU Amarkantak PhD Admission Process

• Selection to the PhD Programme will be based on Entrance Test and Interview.
• Students securing 50% marks in the Entrance Test will be eligible to be called for the interview.
• A relaxation of 5.0% marks will be allowed in the entrance test for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
• The final merit will be prepared by giving 70 % weightage for the entrance test and 30% for the interview performance.
• The Entrance Test will consist of 100 questions, with 50% questions from research aptitude/methodology, and the remaining 50% will be subject-specific.
