Here is the subject-wise analysis for JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 2 paper

• Physics was easier compared to the previous shifts featuring questions on Current, Magnetic, Modern Physics, Cylinders, Seminconductor and Gravitation.
• Chemistry was easy; more weightage on Organic Chemistry and less from Physical Chemistry. Important topics were Bonding, Mole Concepts, Practical Organic.
• Maths was challenging and lengthy including questions from Differential Equations, Area, Vectors and 3D, Determinants, Probability and Matrices. 

Based on the intial reaction, the JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 2 paper was moderately difficult. The shift 2 paper was comparatively easier that the previous shifts.

NTA had released the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip for Sesion 1 on January 10, 2025. JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech has 75 questions. These questions are divided into Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject has 2 sections – Sectiom A with 20 MCQs and Section B with 5 NATs. 

NTA is conducting JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exams from January 22 to 30, 2025. Here are the exam dates:

• Paper 1: January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 in two shifts 
• Paper 2: January 30 in the 2^nd shift

JEE Main 2025 session 2 exams will be conducted from April 1 to 8, 2025.

NTA has commenced the JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 2 exam at 3 PM. The exam will continue till 6 PM.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registration starts on January 31, 2025. Candidates can apply till February 24 for the second attempt.

Candidates must adhere to the following JEE main 2025 Dress Code while appearing for the exam:

• Light, Comfortable Clothing: Wear light and comfortable clothing that does not have large buttons, badges, or thick fabrics.
• No Sleeveless or Transparent Clothing: Sleeveless or transparent clothing is not allowed.
• Full-Sleeve T-Shirts/Shirts: If worn, they should be thin and lightweight.
• Avoid Shoes: Wear simple sandals or slippers without thick soles. Shoes with large heels, platforms, or belts should be avoided.
• Jewelry and Accessories: No jewelry or metallic accessories (such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc.) are allowed inside the examination hall.
• Watches: Electronic watches, smartwatches, and any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
• Caps/Hats: Candidates should not wear caps or hats during the examination.

Note: This year, the frisking has been very strict. So candidates must follow every guideline to ignore mishaps.

The authorities have started the entry and verification process for JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 2 exam at 1 PM. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam centr till 2.30 PM. Invigilators will give instructions till 2.50 PM then candidates can start logging in to their systems. JEE Main 2025 Shift 2 paper starts from 3 PM onwards.

IIT Kanpur has scheduled the JEE Advanced 2025 exam date on May 18, 2025. It will be conducted in two shifts for 2 papers:

• Paper 1: 09:00-12:00 IST
• Paper 2: 14:30-17:30 IST

• Physics: easy to moderate; featuring some previous year questions; formula-based questions on Vectors, Ray, Optics, Semiconductors, Current Electricity, Modern Physics
• Chemistry: relatively easy with questions majorly from Organic Chemistry, Mole Concept, Electrochemistry, Chemical Bonding, and Determinants
• Mathematics: tough and lengthy; important topics include Area, Vectors and 3D

The overall difficulty level of JEE Main Shift 1 paper was moderate, with Physics being easy to moderate (featuring some previous year questions), Chemistry relatively easy, and Mathematics tough and lengthy.

NTA has ended the JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 1 at 12 Noon. Based on the initial reaction of candidates, the paper analysis and question paper will be uploaded soon.

Due to unavoidable reason of technical snag, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam has been rescheduled for 114 candidates. These candidates were appearing on January 22 Shift 1 at Examination Centre eTalent, (TC Code-40086), No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The postponed exam will be conducted on January 28 or 29, 2025.

Based on the difficulty level of this year’s JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam, here’s the JEE Main 2025 Cutoff percentile range:

• General: 94.24–100.0
• EWS: 82.33–94.23
• OBC: 80.68–94.23
• SC: 61.09–94.23
• ST: 47.70–94.23

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 admit card for January 28, 29, and 30 exams. Candidates can download the hall ticket through the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their application number and password or date of birth.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 January 28, 29, and 30 exams scheduled at Prayagraj, UP have been moved to centers at Varanasi to facilitate travel during the Mahakumbh congregation.

NTA is very strict about the JEE Main 2025 admit card. Your photo, signature, and barcode must be clearly visible. If the admit card is mutilated in any way, get a new print out before entering the exam center.

NTA has started conducting the JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 1 exam at 9 AM. This shift will end at 12 noon. 

• For JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 1, the exam center authorities start entry, security checks, and verification from 7 AM to 8.30 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center after 8.30 AM
• Invigilators give the exam instructions from 8.30 AM to 8.50 AM.
• Candidates can start logging into their systems from 8.50 AM.
• The shift 1 exam officially begins at 9 AM.

Note: Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam center before the exam ends at 12 Noon
