The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8 April and Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) on 7 April 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the morning session from 9 AM to 12 PM and the evening session from 3 PM to 6 PM, at multiple test centres nationwide and overseas.

The JEE Main exam day guidelines for diabetic candidates are a little different from other candidates. NTA has allowed diabetic candidates to carry eatables in the exam hall. Eatables like sugar tablets/ fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges) are allowed inside the exam hall for candidates having diabetes.
Candidates are not allowed to carry packed food like chocolate/candy/sandwich in the exam hall, whether he/she is diabetic or not.
