What's New in JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2026?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Paper 2 results for B.Arch and B.Plan on May 2026. Candidates can check their results and download the scorecard from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, using their application number and password. The Paper 2 exam for Session 2 was held on April 9, 2025. For candidates who appeared in both sessions of JEE Main 2025, the final result has been calculated based on the normalized scores of both attempts. For those who appeared in only one session, the scores from that specific attempt have been considered. The scorecard includes the candidate’s percentile and All India Rank, and has been prepared using the final answer key for JEE Main 2025 Paper 2.

How to Check JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2026?
NTA will release the JEE Main B.Arch/B.Planning results on the official website. Candidates have to use their application number and date of birth/password to check their result. The steps to check the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Result are as follows:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the link titled ‘JEE Main 2026 session 1 paper 2 score card link’.
- Now, Enter the application number of JEE main and Date of Birth.
- Click on the submit button.
- JEE Main 2026 Result along with the scores will ultimately appear on the screen.
- Lastly, save it as a PDF file or take a print out of JEE Main 2026 Scorecard for future use.
JEE Main Paper 2 Result Tie-Breaking Criteria: Know Details Here
In case there is a tie in JEE Main Paper 2 results then there will be a tie-breaker. The tie-breaker criteria for B. Arch and B. Planning papers are in the table below

Rank Allotment and Score Calculation in NTA JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Result
- As the paper is conducted in multiple shifts, NTA converts the raw score into percentile.
- To do this, first the NTA raw sore is calculated using the following:
JEE Total Marks = 4 x (number of correct attempts) – 1 x (number of incorrect attempts)
- Post this, to calculate NTA percentile, the following formula is used:

JEE Main 2026 Counselling for B.Arch and B.Plan
JoSAA will conduct JEE Main Counselling process for admissions to top colleges in the country. After Paper 2 result of JEE Main comes out, based on your score, if you cleared the cut off, you can participate in the counselling rounds by registering on the official website of JoSAA 2026. The process involves choice filling and locking of preferences. Based on your JEE Main rank, course, seat availability and category, you will be allotted a seat in JEE Main participating colleges for B.Arch and B.Plan.
