National Testing Agency starts JEE Main 2025 registration on October 28, 2024. Eligible candidates must register online, fill out the application form, and pay the registration fee on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for the JEE Main is November 22, 2024, till 9 PM and fee payment is open till 11.50 PM on the same date.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a critical examination for aspiring engineering students in India. It is conducted annually to facilitate admissions to various Engineering undergraduate programs across esteemed institutions like NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other participating institutions. The exam is conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Registration Guidelines

  • Mode of Registration: Candidates must apply online through the official NTA website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
  • Single Application in each Session: Each candidate is permitted to submit only one application form. Multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.
  • Communication: Ensure that you have submitted a valid email address and mobile number in the application. All communication will be done through these mediums.
  • Apply for Both Sessions: Candidates are allowed to apply for both sessions. If you have applied for the January session, you can apply for the April session without re-registering, using the same application number. However, if a candidate appears for both sessions, they must pay the exam fee separately for each session. If a candidate wishes to skip Session 1 and apply only for Session 2, they can do so by completing the application process when registration reopens.

Exam Pattern

JEE Main exam is conducted for two papers - Paper 1 for B.E./B. Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Plan courses. Paper 1 includes Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and the exam is conducted online, in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. For Paper 2, besides Part I Mathematics, the exam will also include an Aptitude Test and a Drawing Test (which is in pen-and-paper mode). Check JEE Main exam pattern
