A good score in JEE Main 2025 is subjective and depends on the candidate's goals, whether it is to qualify for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, or eligibility for JEE Advanced.

• For students who want to get admission into top NITs or competitive branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), a score of 250+ marks (99.8+ percentile) can be considered excellent.
• A score in the range of 180-200 marks (96-98 percentile) is generally good enough to secure seats in mid-tier NITs and IIITs.
• For GFTIs, a score between 120-150 marks (90-95 percentile) often suffices, especially for non-core branches or reserved category candidates.

NTA has initally released the JEE main final answer key 2025 on jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, the link was soon removed from the website. After that, NTA re-released the revised JEE Main final answer key PDF.

JEE Main 2025 Results for January Session 1 are scheduled to be released on 12th February 2025. The candidates can check their scores on jeemain.nta.nic.in result once it is released by the authority.

NTA formulates the JEE Main 2025 cutoff based on these factors:

• total number of candidates appearing for the exam
• overall performance
• previous year’s trends

The top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) from the B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2025 will qualify for JEE Advanced 2025, which is the examination for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology.
