As per NTA, candidates who requested to reschedule their JEE (Main) 2026 examination due to the Easter celebration on 5th April 2026 through email have been rescheduled. Accordingly, their examination dates have been modified.

NTA has released the JEE Main admit Card for candidates appearing on April 5- 8, 2026. You can directly download the JEE Main Admit Card from the link below:

• Appear in the JEE Main exam with full confidence so that you can score well.

As per the latest instruction by NTA, the candidate must enter the required details on the attendance sheet in legible handwriting. They should put their signature, a clear left-hand thumb impression and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place during the examination. 

Candidates who did not register through Aadhaar (or chose authentication through non-Aadhaar options) need to report early on the day of the examination (at least 1 hour before the gate closing time) to get their biometrics recorded at the JEE Main Exam Center.

As per the latest update by NTA, the duly filled-in JEE Main Admit Card must be dropped in the designated dropbox while leaving the Examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of your answers. You can check the details from the link below:

NTA has released an important advisory instruction for candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam on its official site. You can check the details from the link below:

Candidates appearing for JEE Main April attempt on April 2 and 4 need to follow these important guidelines as mentioned by NTA:

• Candidates need to carry a printout (2-3 copies) of JEE Main Admit Card
• A duly filled Self Declaration form downloaded from the NTA Website
• Passport-size photographs
• An authorised ID proof and a simple transparent Ball Point Pen

As per the latest update, candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 should wear simple, plain and comfortable clothes. Avoid clothes with metallic buttons, jackets, hoodies and heavy embroideries. 

Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 April attempt should not carry rough sheets with them. Based on the latest update, candidates will be provided with blank sheets for rough work in examination hall.

To be on safer side, candidates are advised to have 2-3 print copies of the JEE Main Admit card to avoid any issues while appearing for JEE Main 2026 April attempt.

Candidates need to bring the duly filled declaration form along with the JEE Main Admit Card. Make sure to paste the photo along with a thumb impression at home and keep the signature space blank as you need to sign it at the examination center.

According to the instructions given in the JEE Main admit card, candidates are advised to arrive at 1:00 PM for the second shift JEE Main exam. No candidates will be allowed after the gate closing time at 2:30 PM.

As per the instructions given in the JEE Main admit card, candidates are advised to arrive at 7:00 AM for the first shift JEE Main exam. No candidates will be allowed after the gate closing time at 8:30 AM.

Candidates are not allowed to carry Instruments, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, printed or written material, electronic gadgets, calculator, camera, tape recorder, metallic devices in the Examination Centre/ Hall/Room.  If such items are found, NTA will cancel the JEE Main result of that candidate.

JEE Main Admit Card details comprise the students’ information, test paper, examination center and time details, and certain instructions for candidates. Thus, it is important to keep the JEE Main admit card safe for future use.

Candidates are advised to report at the Examination Center 2 hours before the commencement of the Examination. 

Candidates need to carry a printout of JEE Main Admit Card, along with a duly filled Self Declaration form downloaded from the NTA Website, one passport-size photograph, an authorised ID proof and a simple transparent Ball Point Pen.

The candidate must show, on demand, a printout of JEE Main Admit Card from the NTA website for admission to the Examination centre, room or hall. 

Candidates can download their JEE Main Admit Card for Session 2 till the exam day. But they are advised to download it earlier, preferably before the exam day, to avoid technical issues.

Candidates who do not possess a valid printout of JEE Main Admit Card and authorized Photo IDs shall not be permitted to take the examination under any circumstances.
