The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE 2024) has released Notification No. 174-BOPEE of 2024 regarding admissions to DNB (Broad Specialty) courses for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible in-service doctors from Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and Ladakh are invited to apply for Post MBBS DNB, Post Diploma DNB, and Post MBBS Diploma seats. The offline application process will be conducted from November 27, 2024, to December 3, 2024, till 3:00 PM.

JKBOPEE 2024: Key Information For Applicants

The details of the Eligibility Criteria are given below.

Post MBBS DNB & Post MBBS Diploma Seats

  • Must be a permanent employee in the Health and Medical Department of J&K/Ladakh.
  • Must be a domicile of J&K or Ladakh.

Post Diploma DNB Seats

  • Must have qualified for NEET PG 2024 conducted by NBE and be listed in the merit list.
  • Should hold a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Health & Medical Education Department.
  • Must have passed a Post MBBS Diploma in the relevant speciality.
  • Must be a domicile of J&K or Ladakh.

Application Process

Eligible candidates must submit their offline applications with the required documents at the JKBOPEE offices in Srinagar or Jammu. Candidates must pay a counselling fee of ₹2000 via POS machines available at JKBOPEE offices.

Documents Required

For Post MBBS DNB & Diploma Seats:

  • Domicile Certificate (ST Certificate treated as domicile for Ladakh candidates).
  • Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Difficult Area Certificate (if applicable).
  • NOC from the competent authority.
  • NEET PG 2024 Score Card.

For Post Diploma DNB Seats:

  • Post MBBS Diploma Certificate in the relevant specialty.
  • DNB PDCET 2024 Score Card.
  • Other certificates as mentioned above.

Guidelines For Candidates

  • Candidates seeking sports category benefits must submit their sports certificates to the J&K Sports Council.
  • Category certificates must be valid as of December 3, 2024.
  • The Provisional Merit List will be published after the application deadline.
  • Seat matrices and institution details will be available on the JKBOPEE website a day before counselling.
