In line with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s direction, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) mandates that all All India Quota (AIQ) candidates be filtered out before the stray vacancy rounds of state counselling for KEAM 2024 admissions to MBBS/BDS courses. Following the MCC’s guidelines, Kerala’s Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) revised the KEAM 2024 Stray Vacancy Allotment List to exclude AIQ candidates, now available on the CEE website.

KEAM 2024: Important Points Of The Notification

• Revised Allotment Process:
  • Candidates with AIQ seats are removed from state seat lists for compliance.
  • The finalised revised allotment was published on October 30, 2024.
• Candidate Actions:
  • Download Allotment Memo: Available on the candidate portal with details such as name, roll number, course, and fees.
  • Joining Deadline: Candidates must join the allotted institution by November 5, 2024 (4 PM).
• Fees and Penalties:
  • Candidates under SC/ST/OEC/Fishermen categories may be exempt from fees (subject to certain conditions).
  • Non-compliance with the joining date or withdrawal after admission will result in penalties per KEAM’s terms.
• Instructions for State Authorities:
  • State counselling authorities must remove AIQ-allotted candidates from the seat processing of their stray rounds to prevent overlapping allotments.

Guidelines For Candidates

• Candidates who do not join the course/college allotted within the stipulated time will lose their allotment and the registration fee of such candidates will not be refunded and will be penalized.
• Those candidates, who quit seats after taking admission either through stray vacancy allotment or through previous allotments conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, will also be penalized.
