Eligibility Criteria For MMU PhD Admission 2025

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to pursue a PhD at Maharishi Markandeshwar University in 2025:-

  • Master's degree (1-year after 4-year bachelor's or 2-year after 3-year bachelor's) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
  • Candidates with M.Phil. qualification having minimum 55% marks or equivalent foreign degree
  • 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, and EWS categories

Documents To Be Submitted During Admission

The candidates must bring the following documents at the time of the admission:-

  • Birth certificate (Matriculation Certificate or equivalent)
  • Senior Secondary (+2) Certificate
  • All semester mark sheets of Graduation degree
  • Complete mark sheets of Master's degree
  • M.Phil. or Research degree mark sheets (if applicable)
  • NET/SLET/UGC-CSIR/GATE Certificate (mandatory for Ph.D. in Agriculture)
  • Character Certificate from last attended institution
  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled/EWS), if applicable
  • Work experience proof (if applicable)
  • Employer's NOC (for working professionals)
  • Valid Passport/Student Visa (for NRI/Foreign candidates)
  • Recently taken passport-size photographs (2 copies, attested)

Original documents must be presented by candidates at the time of fee payment and admission confirmation.
