How to check the MCC NEET UG stray-round result

  1. Open the official Medical Counselling Committee website.
  2. Select the UG Medical Counselling section.
  3. Open “Final Allotment Result for the UG Counselling Stray Vacancy Round” under Current Events.
  4. Search the PDF for the NEET UG rank shown in the candidate's counselling records.
  5. Sign in to the candidate portal and download the allotment letter before reporting.

The public PDF identifies allotments by serial number, rank, quota, allotted institute, course, allotted category, candidate category and remarks. Candidates should match every field carefully. The PDF is a public result list; the candidate login and allotment letter remain the operative records for admission.

What the 137-page final allotment list contains

The result begins with MCC's quota and allotted-category abbreviations. These include All India, open-seat, university, institutional, minority, non-resident Indian, Employees State Insurance and nursing-related quotas. The allotted-category section covers open, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and applicable PwD categories.

The first allotments include MBBS seats at AIIMS institutes and government medical colleges. The later pages include self-financed MBBS seats, and the final entry is a BDS allotment. Candidates should not estimate their outcome from another candidate's rank because the result also depends on course, institute, quota, category and the choices submitted.

The final serial number is 3,108. This count represents allotment rows in the PDF, not necessarily 3,108 newly admitted students. Admission becomes effective only after the candidate completes the required reporting and document process.

Download the allotment letter before reporting

MCC's latest notice tells selected candidates to download their allotment letters and proceed with admission. Candidates should sign in through the official UG counselling candidate portal, save the letter and follow the institute-specific reporting instructions printed on it.

The reporting window remains open through October 26. Candidates should not wait until the last day to contact the allotted institute, confirm its reporting hours, arrange the required fee and collect the original documents specified for admission. The schedule notice does not give one common reporting time for every institute.

Special instruction for a changed category or quota

The result PDF includes a specific warning for candidates whose category or quota changed in the same institute and course. Such candidates must obtain an online-generated relieving letter and take admission against the changed category or quota seat.

They must also obtain a fresh online-generated admission letter for the changed seat. MCC states that the allotment can be cancelled for non-admission if this step is not completed. Candidates covered by this note should contact the institute and MCC immediately if either document is unavailable in the portal.

What candidates should verify now

  • Check the rank, allotted institute, course, quota and category in the final PDF.
  • Download the final allotment letter from the official candidate login.
  • Read the allotted institute's reporting and fee instructions.
  • Keep all required original documents ready for verification.
  • Complete reporting no later than October 26, subject to the institute's stated hours.

MCC's UG page was last updated on October 20 and displays the final-result announcement as a current event. Candidates should use only the official MCC page and candidate portal for result and allotment-letter access.
