National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination, NIFTEE 2025 has been conducted today, 9th of February 2025 in 81 cities across India. NIFT 2025 CAT exam for Shift 2 has been concluded at 5.30 PM. Based on the initial feedback, the CAT paper was easy to moderately difficult.

NIFTEE Exam Day Guidelines and Security Measures
NIFT 2025 candidates were informed to reach examination centers well ahead of time for the gate of the examination halls closes strictly without any exception in advance. Process of entry, besides Aadhaar-based biometrics, also takes into account and verifies authenticity via alternative means on Aadhaar missing candidates.
CCTV surveillance and jammers are kept at all centres of examination, and candidates are not allowed inside the exam halls with any of their electronic appliances, such as mobile phones or smartwatches.
Documents Required for Entry
The following documents were carried by the candidates for verification purposes:
- Admit Card on A4-size paper
- Original valid ID proof, either Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID
- Passport-size photograph (for attendance sheet)
- Self-Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)

AADHAAR-Based Biometric Verification
- Candidates must bring the Aadhaar Card for biometric authentication.
- Thumb impressions will be taken at least twice during the examination process. In case of mismatches, iris scanning would be done
- Candidates without an Aadhaar shall be authenticated by other means, and an Exception Form would be captured.
Items Allowed
- Translucent water bottle
- Translucent ball pen, pencil, eraser, ruler (for B.Des. and M.Des. candidates)
- A-4 Translucent Acrylic Board (for drawing-type tests)
Items Not Allowed
- Electronic devices, mobile phones, smartwatches, and bags are strictly not allowed.
- No storage facility will be available at the centre.
