Eligibility Criteria For Bachelor Of Design

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) program at Nirma University, candidates must meet the following criteria:-

  • Passed the HSC examination (10+2) or any other recognized examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Holding a 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education or any other equivalent board/university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Recognized examinations considered equivalent by Nirma University are also eligible.

Selection Process For Bachelor Of Design

The selection process for the Bachelor of Design program involves the following stages:-

  • Marks obtained in UCEED 2025 Part A score will be considered.
  • Candidates will undergo a situation test and personal interview to assess their general awareness, aptitude, interests, and understanding of social and cultural issues.
  • Candidates may be required to showcase their creative work (portfolio) during the interview.
  • NRI students will be exempt from the entrance test and will be evaluated based on their qualifying exam marks, online personal interviews, letters of recommendation, and portfolio submission.
