Eligibility Criteria For Nirma University B.Com Program

To be eligible for admission to the B.Com (Hons) program at Nirma University, candidates must meet the following criteria:-

  • Candidates seeking admission to the BCom (Hons) program must have passed the HSC examination (10+2) or an equivalent recognized examination with English as a subject.
  • They must have also studied one of the following subjects: Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • A minimum of 60% marks is required in the HSC examination (10+2) or equivalent, with total marks obtained in all 12th standard subjects considered for merit.

Nirma University Selection Process For B.Com Program

The selection process for the B.Com program involves the following stages:-

  • The merit for admission to the BCom (Hons) program is prepared based on the percentage marks or CGPI obtained in the 12th Standard Examination (HSC or equivalent).
  • The aggregate percentage score in the 12th Standard examination is the primary criteria for determining merit.
  • In case of a tie, where two or more candidates have the same aggregate percentage score, the marks obtained in the English paper are considered.
  • The candidate with a higher score in the English paper is given priority in the admission process.

Additionally, candidates will need to use their designated User ID and Password for all admission-related activities within the Admission Portal.
