NMIMS University PhD Online Registration and Selection Process

The detailed selection process for the program is outlined below, providing step-by-step guidance for candidates to understand the requirements and stages involved:-

  • Online registration can be completed at @nmims.edu.
  • A non-refundable registration fee of INR 2,500/- plus GST, if applicable.
  • Selection involves an Entrance Test followed by a Personal Interview.
  • The Entrance Test (100 marks, 90 minutes) will be conducted exclusively at the Mumbai campus.
    • Section A: 50% weightage for Research Methodology.
    • Section B: 50% weightage for Area/Domain-Specific topics.
  • Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the written test conducted by SVKM.
  • Only candidates who qualify for the entrance test will be invited for the Personal Interview round

Candidates holding a valid score within the specified validity period in exams like NET, SET, GATE, GPAT, JRF, or technical professional qualifications (e.g., UGC, CSIR, ICMR), as indicated on their scorecards, are exempted from appearing in the NMIMS entrance test.
