Eligibility Criteria For OSGU PhD Admission 2025

Candidates must meet the academic and research-oriented criteria mentioned below to qualify for the doctoral program:-

  • Candidates must possess a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) from a recognized university, meeting UGC regulations for PhD admission
  • Valid national test scores (NET/SLET/GATE/UGC-CSIR JRF) are accepted, with candidates without these scores required to clear a mandatory entrance examination with a minimum of 50% marks
  • International applicants must have studied required subjects, securing at least 55% in qualifying examination, with selection based on academic performance, entrance exam, and interview performance

Admission Procedure For OSGU PhD Program 2025

  • Submit the application on the university's specific form before the deadline
  • Candidates with valid national test scores (NET/SLET/GATE/UGC-CSIR JRF) are exempted from entrance exam
  • Selection process:
    • National test scorers are selected based on interview performance
