Eligibility Criteria For PhD Admission 2025

The following are the eligibility criteria for PhD admission at Rani Channamma University:-

  • Candidates must have completed a Master's Degree or equivalent examination from recognized Universities/Institutions (Indian or International).
  • A minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade under the grading system is required for the Master's Degree.
  • For SC/ST/Category-I/Physically challenged candidates, a relaxation is provided with a minimum requirement of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
  • The Master's Degree must be from a recognized institution, either from India or abroad.

The following documents are required for admission:-

  • SSLC (10th) Marks Card/Certificate.
  • PUC (12th/Pre-University) Marks Card.
  • UG Degree Marks Card and Certificate.
  • PG Degree Marks Card and Certificate.
  • Caste and Income Certificate.
  • PH/HK Certificate: A PH/HK certificate for physically handicapped candidates, if applicable.
  • UGC-JRF/UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET/SLET/GATE/GRE Certificate.
  • A valid Aadhar card.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • A copy of the candidate's signature.
