Six proffesors of Parul University Ranked Among World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2024

Six faculty members from Parul University, Vadodara have been included in the list of the world’s top 2% scientists for 2024. The list is based on a global study conducted by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier. This study evaluate's scientists based on citation scores and research impact.

The ranking covers over 223,000 scientists worldwide and highlights the top 100,000 researchers using a composite citation score (c-score) and other metrics.

The six faculty members from Parul University who made it to the list represent diverse academic fields. They include:

Prof. Dr. M.H. Fulekar (Environmental Science) – known for his work on sustainable technologies.

Dr. Vishal Sorathiya (Mechanical Engineering) – recognised for his contributions in robotics and automation.

Dr. Mitesh Patel (Microbiology) – for his research on microbial characteristics.

Dr. Pranav Kumar Prabhakar (Health Sciences) – for his work concerning type-2 diabetes and metabolic disorders.

Dr. Deep Pooja (Pharmaceutical Sciences) – for advancements made in drug delivery and nanomedicine.

Dr. M.R. Yadav (Medicinal Chemistry) – for his expertise in drug design and also serving as Director of the Research and Development Centre at the university.
