St Joseph University PhD Eligibility

• Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks for admission into a PhD programme.
• Selection will be based on the PhD Entrance test and Interview conducted by the university.
• Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ GATE are exempted from the Entrance Exam.
• Candidates are required to present a PowerPoint presentation of the interested research area/title during the interview.

• Candidates can obtain an application form from the university office between 8:30 AM to 04:00 PM before the last date of submission.
• Candidates must submit the below-listed documents along with the application form:
  • Educational qualification certificates (UG & PG Mark statements and Degree Certificates, SSLC & HSE Mark Statement)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Service Certificate
  • No objection Certificate for Part-time application
  • One Page Abstract on Proposed Research
  • Recent photograph
