Universal AI University PhD Eligibility
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from any recognized Indian or Foreign Institution.
- Candidates having a 4-year bachelor’s degree with Research should have a minimum CGPA of 7.5/10 are eligible to apply.
- A relaxation of 5% marks is provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Differently Abled / EWS categories.
Universal AI University PhD Admission Process
- Selection to the programme is based on the Entrance test and Proposal Presentation conducted by Universal AI University.
- The Entrance Test will be of 100 marks and the qualifying marks will be 50% marks.
- The Entrance Test shall consist of 100 questions, 50 based on Research Methodology and 50 will be subject-specific.
- The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
- All the candidates who pass the entrance exam will appear for the proposal presentation.
- The presentation will carry 30 marks weightage which analyzes the research objectives and the research area of the candidate.
- Candidates with valid GATE scores of that year are eligible for entrance exam exemption.
- Entrance exam exemption is available for candidates with JRF/UGC-CSIR NET (Including JRF), SLET/GATE, teacher fellowship, M.Phil degree, or eligible PET score from state/central public universities.
- Candidates admitted through AICTE's QIP-Ph.D scheme at the QIP research centre must satisfy all QIP scheme requirements and are exempted from the entrance test and interview for registering for the university's PhD programme.
