Students who studied or are studying abroad should use the International application route specified by VIT.

For the qualifying-examination year, applicants must have passed Class 12/HSC in 2025 or 2026, or be appearing for the Class 12/HSC examination in 2027. Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier are not eligible for VITEEE 2027 or B.Tech admission through this cycle.

  • For the Mathematics route, the stated requirement is at least 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with at least 50% in Mathematics.
  • For the Biology route, the stated requirement is at least 60% aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry, with at least 50% in Biology.
  • For SC/ST applicants and applicants from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the specified North-Eastern states, VIT lists a 50% aggregate requirement in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  • The qualifying examination must be completed through regular, full-time, formal education with English as a subject. VIT also says candidates cannot combine subjects or marks from different boards to meet eligibility.

Students using MPCEA must meet the PCM condition and may be considered for all B.Tech programmes. BPCEA applicants are considered only for the programmes listed by VIT, including selected biotechnology, bioinformatics, health sciences and bioengineering options. Check the programme list carefully before selecting the test subject route.

VITEEE 2027 application fee and form steps

The VITEEE 2027 application cost is ₹1,450. It can be paid through net banking, credit card or debit card and is non-refundable. For a test centre abroad, VIT lists the equivalent of USD 90 in Indian rupees.

Use only your own active email address and mobile number. VIT sends the OTP to the registered mobile number and sends the password to the registered email address after validation. The institute specifically advises students not to use a service-centre or internet-centre mobile number.

  1. Sign up with the applicant's email address and mobile number, then validate the OTP.
  2. Log in, accept the declaration and enter personal, address and education details correctly.
  3. Select the board, year of passing and VITEEE subject preference: MPCEA or BPCEA.
  4. Enter Class 10 details and upload the original Class 10 marksheet.
  5. Pay the fee, complete the photograph/signature step and upload the requested document or address proof.
  6. Download and save the filled-in application. VIT says applicants do not need to send a hard copy of the form.

The document-upload list on the portal includes options such as Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, driving licence/LLR, ration or family card, an address or domicile certificate, bank or post-office passbook/statement, or a school ID showing the candidate's correspondence address. Students should use the list on the live form and ensure that the address details match the proof they upload.

VITEEE 2027 exam pattern

VITEEE 2027 is tentatively a two-hour, English-language test. A candidate can appear only once. The official page says there will be 100 multiple-choice questions: 40 in Mathematics or Biology, 25 each in Physics and Chemistry, five in Aptitude and five in English. Each correct answer carries four marks, each wrong answer has a one-mark deduction and unanswered or marked-for-review questions receive zero marks.

Action point: register well before March 31, confirm your Class 12 subject route and marks requirement, keep the Class 10 marksheet and address proof ready, and save the submitted VITEEE application after payment. The April-May examination and May result/counselling timings are currently tentative, so do not treat them as final travel or admission dates.
