RCOEM had a good NIRF ranking at the time of admission it has slightly dropped right from the top 100s college to the top 150th place. overall college experience is pretty smooth this college is all about putting the students first this is reflected in every area. there were no interviews as such at the time of the admission process in my case times might have changed talking about 2019.
Course curriculum is well balanced when it comes to industrial knowledge and academics it is structured in a fashion where as you progress in the college and until you reach your final year there will be significantly less academic pressure on you so that students can focus on internships. faculty are top-notch when it comes to their area of expertise I have never seen anyone who is not a PhD holder when it comes to my lecturers with that said there was a time we were assigned a temporary faculty which wasn't quite good but also it was for only a week. exam difficulty is crazy you won't get any questions that you have solved they will always be new to you and made just for you.
I got two internships through alumini support both software development and IOT-based. it was where I got to learn alot about how work happens in the industry tech I was working on were react JS MongoDB node js and express
for my batch, I didn't know anyone who wasn't placed our Training and placement head Dr. Parag Jawarkar is a good man when it comes to placement he made sure almost everybody was placed. but few folks had backlogs and lots of them in that case even he wasn't able to help them but if you have decent academics you can make it through easily.
Tuition fees are variable but it doesn't go beyond 80,000inr in my case since this college is deemed a university of its own now there is simply no caste reservation and the fee structure is similar for everybody.
the best, massive canteen, massive OAT open-air theatre where you can sit your friends for lunch for socializing. the library is also pretty good also basketball volleyball football grounds are there for practice.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
