I chose this college because past placements were good and the education system is nice too. Addmission for 1st year Btech program can is done on the basis of JEE MAINS, MHTCET and from this year Rbu nagpur is conducting their own online exam RUBEE. I was selected on the basis of my rubee and jee rank. This year cut off before cap round was- CS core:CET-85,JEE-80 CS(Ai,ml)(aids):CET-82,JEE-77 CS(cyber and others):CET-80,JEE-75 EN/ENCS/EC:CET-70,JEE-65 EIE/ME:CET-65,JEE-55 BIO/CIVIL:CET-55,JEE-50
I couldn't give MHTCET and my jee rank wasn't good so this was the only branch according to my jee and rubee rank. It has about 70% of weightage of cs and rest is electronics. All female teachers are nice and good in behaviour and you can easily ask your doubts. It doesn't mean male faculty is bad only some exceptions are there, as it's the first year of being an university many temporary faculty are coming which effects somehow. Overall teaching is nice. In each semester all subjects is of 100 marks which is further divided as 50 marks end sem exam and 50 marks internal. In internal 5-5 marks for 2 assignments or assignments and 2 UTs of 20-20 marks are conducted.

You must have 6-7 internship certificates. Eligibility depends on the company which visits. All branches are allowed to give interviews of different branch like of IT if they have course certificate and proper knowledge. Cs core placements are high. You can easily get better offers now a days outside the campus placement so it's campus placement is not an issue. Accenture, IBM, TCS, DE Shaw & Co, CISCO, Schneider Electric, Amadeus, Adani Group, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Siemens, etc are the top recruiters. The highest package of RCOEM now renamed as RamdeoBaba University (RBU) is INR 50 LPA offered by Aramco followed by INR 37 LPA given by LG AD Solution. college hostel is not worth it at all.rooms are so small and price is so high. Price-120000 for double sharing and 130000 for single person. Hostel mess provides the best food in the area according to the type of food which is provided in mess hostel mess is the best in the area. I would suggest you to opt for pg rather than hostel. Many pgs are available within 1km of college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
