The college was already on my mind right from the childhood as it is one of best college in the state of maharashtra and it is pretty close to my residence too so why not. I got here through MHTCET exam in PCM.
The curriculum and courses here are pretty up to date and they change the course content almost every year as per the modern requirements of the hour. For example CSE related topic like AI and Machine Learning and so on.
I have opted for internship with star origin which is a startup company there I was assigned with the task of making and deploying an application for their new product that I won't be able to disclose at the moment.
The placements are one of the plus points of this college for anyone to take admissions. Even in the recession time there are multiple companies visting the college including Nutanix, Amadeus, Softlink, Vconstruct, Fendalh.
The year wise fees I paid is Rs. One lac and sixty five thousand only out of which around 1.5 lacs is tuition fees and rest are others. I am benefitted from EBC scholarship from which I get 68 thousand every year.
The annual fest of the college is known as Pratishruti which is central India's biggest socio cultural fest. Other massive events are Prerna, Robothon, Aagaz and so on and they are pretty interesting. The best club in college is Robotics and Aviation Club.
I have not actually applied for a hostel service but I can tell from my friend's feedback that the hostel here is quite affordable. Not very spacious. Food is better than average. You get special food every weekend.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
