- Campus is very good and teacher are also very helpful.
- It provide scholarship for schedule caste so that they can study without making burden on their parents
Dislikes
- Some students are roaming in the college and making very noise
- Tables in the canteen are very limited .
Remarks :
I have interest in literature so i choose this course. Admission is based on merit list (i.e. you scored in lower examination) on Punjab govt portal and they will guide you for admission. Admission process is very simple
Course Curriculum Overview :
As i have interest in literature, i consider it easy degree. The required qualification is 12th in any stream. Teachers take lectures regularly and are very polite and teach effectively. Final exams are conducted twice in a year and two formative per semester.
Internships Opportunities :
As my degree is of English literature i can do B. Ed and also can do PhD to take the title of Dr. and i will be illegible to give government exams to become a teacher and also can texh in all type of private schools.
Placement Experience :
The course that i have did, there is no placement provided by the college. But after this course we can do B.Ed and achieve our aim to become a teacher. Most of the students passed from this college are employed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee decrease every year like in first year 10500, in second year 9500 and in final year 9300. If you are from SC category you can apply for BR Ambedkar Scholarship. College team will guide you to apply for scholarship.
Campus Life :
Campus life is brilliant. College conduct fests time to time and any student can take part in it. Activities like many type of sports, painting, drama, singing and many more competitions. All books are available in library. Classroom are neat and clean.
Hostel Facilities :
In the college, hostel is provided only for girls, there is no hostel for boys. Hostels are neat and clean with most facilities. Boys can rent a room near the college at a affordable price and area is very good.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
