- Very bad campus infrastructure very bad washrooms they don’t even clean them
Remarks :
No, Exams are required for enrollment just merit-based seat allocation taking marks of 12th as input. Government college made me choose this college over other colleges. College is not so good go you are looking for quality education or any placements it's just for the sake of a degree with low money
Course Curriculum Overview :
Some teachers are good at teaching but some teachers don’t even take classes as it’s a government college and there are no restrictions on teachers. Yes, there are many scholarships provided in this college for SC/ST so they get up to 90% of fees refunded there are also NSP and Minority scholarships provided for general and obc caste but it's only 4000-5000 rs.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no companies that give internships and no teacher encouraged any internships. The outdated syllabus of Punjab University leads to nowhere of any company placement or even internships if anyone just wants a degree he/she can join this college campus
Placement Experience :
There are only 0 placements provided by the college and no company wants to visit its campus only scam companies visit it just to loot students and its allowed by the college and special seminars are held for this scam companies advertising. Try outside if we want any job but the syllabus is so outdated that no company will hire anyone from this college.
Campus Life :
Hostel is only available for girls and there is no Boy Hostel available. The library is filled with a variety of books and also has AC service. There are social events or social clubs available. No sports events are conducted no sports material is available. Coaches don’t even bother about any sports event. Only 1-2 coaches are there for about 8000 students and they don’t even encourage them to do sports

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
