- i most like about the college is hygiene and infrastructure of college.
- Another i liked about college is their staff they are helping in each way they help students in Every activities and in their projects.
Dislikes
- I dislike about the college is their placement cell which has to be improve.
- Another i dislike about college is boys bike parking college has provided proper shelter for girls vehicle parking but for boys they provided a open ground without shelter which is unfair
Remarks :
Mohindra College is located in the main Patiala city admission process of this college is very simple candidates have to register on the Punjab government admission portal and then their names will appear in the cutoff lists of is average most of the students can easily.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course to become a software developer. The college staff is very helpful and are very well educated most of the teachers have done doctorate in computer application. Final exams are held every six months and the level of exams is very easy. The fee hike is not so much in this college. There is a scholarship for SC students in our college which is provided by the government in which students get a full refund of their fees
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for an internship at Infosys I got the role of assistant in the SEO team in this I had to check the fundamentals of the projects and have to run the ads of the project most conveniently so that more traffic would reach the website.
Placement Experience :
Placements are very average in this college there are internships from Q companies like Infosys which will recruit only 7-8 students from a batch students have to pursue for off-campus placements. I plan to go for an off-campus placement in the IT sector.
Campus Life :
There are many cultural fests in my college recently baisakhi fest was done in April. The library of this college is well maintained most of the books are up to date. Sports activities are also there in college and a special group of NCC and NSS is also in college in which students can take part. The hostel is only for girls and is provided under the government fee curriculum.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
