It is one of the best colleges on the south campus, I also heard about this class from my seniors who have also studied here. It is especially good for the science and commerce branch My admission was merit-based, that is on 12th class marks and percentage. I got my admission in the 2nd round of the cut-off of DU. Pros - it has a very large campus area and good infrastructure with all facilities available to the students. It provides you with large exposure to all the parts of life. Famous cricketer Rishabh Pant is also an alumnus of our college. All good pg and rooms are available within 5 min distance. Cons - some classes are not fully ventilated. It is not a part of the north campus, so all colleges on the south campus are a little dispersed.
I chose this course cuz I had an interest in chemistry from the starting itself. All the faculty members were very educated and had many years of experience in teaching. Their teaching style was also very easy to understand and all were very cooperative. All the internals and end-sem exams used to be conducted on time without any delay. The level of paper was moderate to hard. It tests your overall knowledge of the subject.
1st year fee was 14805 2nd year fee was 16705 3rd-year fee was 19729 Which increased every year. Also, there was an examination fee every semester, 1st sem to 4 sem - 1800 each because there were 6 subjects 5th and 6th sem - 1300 as only 2 core subjects and 2 DSE subjects. The fees for general and obs were the same, with no difference, and as for sc and st it was less, I don't know the exact figures but it was very reasonable.
There is the fest of our clg famous with the name Nexus, it happens in Feb or march. There are many clubs and groups which are run by students, like a cultural group dance named Nrityangan Dance crew, debate society, Management society, music group etc.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
