I was looking for a college which would be best for the course I wanted to pursue and Sri Venkateswara College, DELHI University South campus was said to be best for B.com Program. I haven't faced any discussions, interviews or written tests. During my time admission was done on the basis of merit list.
Faculty is Good. All the teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum was best. During my time CBCS pattern was followed and now NEP is being followed. So Curriculum have increased and no. papers in exam also increased like I used to give 4 exams while NEP students have to give 7 exams.
No I haven't done any internship. But the the internships opportunities are always shared by the placement cell to the students and students can apply for the internship accordingly to their preferences.
The Placements are good. KPMG , Deloitte ,D.E. Shaw like companies are invited to college for students to get placed but it depends on your resume and personality, like how much you have worked during your college life .
Like when I was in first year the 1st year fee was 12000 in 2nd year it became 14000 and in last year it went to 17000 . So may be their are chances that fees should vary by the year . So it is not fixed.
The social life is great at the campus. You have variety of societies in the college which you can join by Filling up their forms and giving interviews. You will never get bore at Venky . It is Great Great Great college. The Fest organised by the FAA - Fine Arts Association called NEXUS . It is a three days fest in which first to days are different competitions happen in different societies like dance, singing, arts and many more and a DJ Night and in the third day a famous singer is being called for the concert.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
