My college is a part of Delhi university so I got admission through my Cuet score which was 752/800.I believe that Venky and even Du overall is a very reputed university which is why I chose to came here .Also, the fees is very minimal.
I genuinely really like the curriculum as I chose BCom as I really like studying accounts which is one of the core subjects here along with business laws and management.I also really like the faculty, their way of teaching and how approachable they are.One thing I don’t like though is the fact that BCom program students can only choose Hindi or evs in their ge whereas BCom honours students get multiple options.I don’t think Hindi or ge can contribute as much as economics or maths can.
I have not opted for an internship yet but students usually look for internships outside as college does not provide you with many opportunities for internships. The placement cell might offer to some people but students usually look for better internships online.
We do have a placement cell in our college and students can sit for placements in the third year. The average package for BCom is 6.5 lpa and the highest is about 15 lpa which is great .I have heard that top companies like delloite and zomato come here for placements.About 50% of the students get placed as many opt to not sit for placements for their higher studies.
The year wise fees for BCom is rs.20775.Apart from this we also have to pay examination fees before each of the end semester exams .It differs from course to course but mine was 1310 this time. Also, the fees may increase in the subsequent years which we’re informed about later.
The campus life is great and you get to experience the proper college life you were hoping for. There are people here from all over India so no one feels like an outsider. There are many societies that are all equally active and give you some amazing opportunities from the first year itself. We also have a fest called nexus around April which is famous in the whole du for being one of the best college fests. There are many sports teams as well which are very active and keep participating in different competitions. The infrastructure is decent ,there are 2 academic blocks,a canteen ,a ground and a library which are all decent sized and nice.
I have not opted for a hostel but I know that the hostel is very small and the seats are very limited .My friends have also told me that the food and living conditions are decent but there is not much to do in the hostel.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
