Remarks :
Our college is the best college in south campus of Delhi University so I go for that after the seats full in hindu college and Kirorimal College of North campus. Anyone can got admission in venky through CUET. The cut off for my course was 739 in OBC.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a lot of interest in political issues and ideologies so I choose BA political science Hons. Our most of proffessers are PhD holders and very good in their subjects but at some level we have also some short of language barriers because most of teachers from Andhra Pradesh. Our college follows semester method for exam and level of exams are moderate.
Placement Experience :
For the BA political science Hons we have not much students placed as most of students are preparing for UPSC,State PCS,SSC and other competition examination. Most of students also wanted to go for PhD to later become proffesser.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid Rs 250 for the registration in delhi university and then when I have seat alloted in a college then I paid Rs 19875 and after that I paid 1310 as a exam fees. Various types of scholarship present in our college some by college and some by university but I haven't a lot knowledge about that
Campus Life :
As a fest in Sri Venkateswara College NEXUS hold every year in March. We have a lot of books in library and you can also suggest books to them to bring in library. We have lot of societies in our college which are very active. We have two social groups one is happy club and other is ignite club.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
