Did a lot of research on it, and found that it is one of the most renowned college of Delhi University. I got to know about it's reputation, alumni network and the experience of ex students about the college.
The course curriculum is pretty old school, traditional and Faculties are good overall. So the overall expression could be said that it's fine and well in terms of curriculum, academics and Faculties.
I have done a couple of internship at Green Bhoomi i.e an NGO situated in Delhi itself. I did HR internship in which we had to take on resumes and take various interviews to select the individual. Overall I enjoyed it.
There are various internships and job opportunities in the college, however my plan is not to grab a decent profile job, but tk become an entrepreneur and do something of my own. However as I said the college also offers various job and internship opportunities
17500 is the annual fees and it has increased from the previous year. The reasons is pretty obvious that there is a lot of development going on in the college, also there has been financial aid for students of other category.
A life at campus is really essential as it is something that provides the exposure that a student really needs especially coming from other parts of India. The social life, clubs and infrastructure of my college is pretty good tbh and it has one of the biggest campuses in whole DU, There are various societies to be a part in and one can get enough resources to grow from these.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
