I gained admission through merit-based selection, utilizing my Class 12th grades, as entrance exams were cancelled during the COVID-19 lockdown. There was no Group Discussion nor any kind of interview.
Being a commerce student I wanted to pursue my graduation in the same field so I chose B.com. The faculty was very good, experienced and is one of the best in my opinion. The tentative datesheet for the exams are given months before the exams and they are almost accurate. The university in the starting of the year gives the tentative dates of commencement and ending of exams that makes us very comfortable and make tickets for home in advance. In mt experience everything is convenient there .
The college provides with various internships. I opted for : 1. Marketing Research Intern in Petlicious Superfoods India pvt. Ltd. I helped in data collection for the organisation. 2. Brand Engagement Intern and later became Team lead in Weekend Story (Avenue) I worked with team and helped increasing the user base.
The college provides with the great opportunities for placements with companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Zomato, eY, pWc, Upriver, Ecom express, DE Shaw, DeltaX and various other firms in the domain of accounting, consulting, e-commerce, education etc.
Admission fee: Rs. 250 First year fees : 12405 2nd year fees : 14005 3rd year fees : 16709 Examination fees was between 510 to 910 every semester depending upon theory or practical subjects. The college provides fee waivers to economically weaker sections of the society on the basis of their annual family income. I got Rs. 10,000 in first year ; Rs. 5000 in 2nd year and Rs. 7000 in 3rd year. No merit based scholarships are given.
NEXUS is one of the most awaited fest of Delhi University. It is usually conducted in the month of March . The library contains almost all the books that are in our syllabus. I often used to issue and reissue my theory books for months from the library and return it after the exams. There are several societies students can join based on their talents. Sports day for 3 to 5 days annually is celebrated and any student (male/ female) can participate and belive me it is sooo muchhhh fun. Once you get the admission, there are several whatsapp communities providing you every detail. They also provide the previous year papers for every course in the form of pdf for free . Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
