- Sometimes there is the problem of insects in hostels
Remarks :
I passed my CLAT exam to get admission into this college. The reason I chose this college is because the crowd that comes here from Delhi and Chandigarh gives it a corporate bend. Also, the staff is really helpful and teachers are really supportive further, if somebody wants to do LLM from abroad then it is very easy from this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum has changed with the appointment of the new vice chancellor and he is giving a push toward LLM and academics. Apart from this the faculty has always been helpful and supportive, any student can go to any professor at any time.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the college. However, students can opt for internships on their own as well. The tasks in the internship include research, drafting, client briefing and doing other miscellaneous court work.
Placement Experience :
Placement and internships are provided by the college. However, the criteria are a little bit strict and therefore those who do not fulfil them have to seek internships on their own. Around seventy per cent of students from the batch get placed in decent firms.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is as follows Admission fee+hostel fee+library fee+Mess fee+gym fee+other miscellaneous amount. This structure remains more or less the same, however, every year the fee is increased by 10%.
Campus Life :
Social life on campus is very joyful, everybody is like family. Everyone does hang out with each other and there is no animosity. Further, the culture of sports is also significant. This college holds one of the biggest sports fest called Zelus whose 5th edition just concluded.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are great, there are Air conditioners provided in every room. Cleaning also takes place regularly and the staff of the hostel is very humble. The rooms till 3rd year are double sharing and from 4th year onwards it becomes single occupancy.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
