The factors behind choosing this university were the National Law University tag provided to it as well as the good placement opportunities in the university. Moreover, admission to this university was based on the CLAT ranks and the CLAT rank secured by me made me eligible for this university. Talking about CLAT, the full form of CLAT is a common law admission test which is a national-level entrance exam for law schools such as RGNUL.
The course curriculum chosen by me at RGNUL is BALLB Honors which encapsulates both Bachelor of Arts and LLB, the reason behind choosing this course was my interest in pursuing law and the BALLB Honors at RGNUL was perfect for me. Talking about the faculty at RGNUL is very great and some of them are also alumni Of prestigious universities at the national as well as international levels such as Oxford University, Harvard Law School, Leiden University, National Law School of India University etc. Further, the teaching methods are very student-friendly as well as attractive, as the students are motivated to have group discussions on various course-related topics and the students are provided with the course material which is easy to comprehend for everyone. The term exams are conducted per semester and every semester contains two exams mainly the end term and the mid term, furthermore there are 10 semesters in the BALLB Honors course at RGNUL.
The internship program at our university is growing and commendable, with the internship and placement committee encompassing both the faculties and students, performing its work diligently to secure prestigious internships for students in law chamber firms and corporate companies. The students from our university mainly intern in law chambers and firms where they are provided with work such as document drafting, making the brief of the case, interacting with the clients appearing in courts, as well as helping the senior lawyers.
The eligibility criteria for placement at our university is mainly in 4th or 5th year where the students are provided the opportunity to intern in various prestigious firm and to bag the PPOs or other offers from them. Additionally, the percentage of students getting placement is increasing day by day where around 50 to 60% of students get campus placement and the same motivates me to further appear for the corporate placement from our campus.
The total fees for a year are three lakhs, which are to be submitted in two instalments for two semesters in a year, one in January and the other one in July, the total tuition fees containing other miscellaneous fees such as moot court fees, library fees, campus development fund ranges around 1,84,000 per year, while the hostel fees are around 40,000 per year and the mess fees are around 48,000 per year. Talking about the scholarships the students are provided various types of scholarships by the university such as the merit cum scholarship under which the whole tuition fee Is reimbursed, while there are scholarships for students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes which are directly related to the centre government and under that half of their tutuion fees is reimbursed.
The life campus at RGNUL is very great and engaging there are various fests conducted at RGNUL, such as the sports fest of RGNUL known as Zeulus, which is conducted every year in March where various law universities around India participate in it, further, there are intra University fests such as the Penta League, the freshers party etc. Moreover talking about the infrastructure at RGNUL the same is very well developed and the beacon of it is our library which encapsulates humongous books and various journals of law as well as other interdisciplinary fields examples of the same are the SAGE general, the Willy Journal, and the UGC care list journals.

Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
