Likes
- The infrastructure is best here. The campus is of about 55 acre and every room in this hostel is equipped with AC.
- The faculty here is very nice and each and every is given due attention and almost every student gets good marks.
Dislikes
- The campus is very far from the main city. You have to pay good amount to get to the city.
- The food delivery is not allowed after 11:30 pm and you have very limited food options around here.
Remarks :
It is Tier 2 NLU which provides good placements to the students. Top tier Law firms come for placement in this university. The good aspects are that this university has the best infrastructure in all the NLUs. You have to give CLAT exam to get admission in this university and it takes admission for the ranks above 600 in clat exam. My rank was 890.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good. You have 6 subjects in each semester. In last year the subject reduce to 5 and you have to give term paper. The faculty are best here. You can get good marks if you prepare well. The course is good for a law student to prepare for judiciary as well.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internships in Law chambers, Courts as well as in law firms. The internship cell provides internship opportunities to the students here based on their CV. The big law firms provide stipend to the students such as SAM and Trilegal.
Placement Experience :
The university provide good number of placement to the students. There is about 60-70% of students get placed every year. You have to have good CV for a placement. Law firms like SAM, LKS, EY and Bharucha and Partners come for the college placements. The highest package given is 18LPA and lowest is 8 LPA. My plans after degree is to get into a corporate firm.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees is Rs. 80000 for one semester and there are 2 semester so tuition fees for one year is 160000. The hostel rent for a year is 60000 and other fees like moot court fees and exam fees conclude upto 242000 per year. The admission fees is 50000. The fees for NRI quota is 800000 per year. The college provide scholarship upto 50% off in tuition fees which is based upon merit.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is good as the infrastructure is good and you can get all the things from faculty area here. The bad thing about it is that university is very far from the main city and you have to pay a good amount to go to the city to the auto drivers to go to City. The library has good amount of books and journals. The Sports fest is conducted every year between NLUs which is the main fest of this college. There are various centres and societies in this college like music society and other educational groups.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess food is of good quality. You can have variety of food in the mess. There is also a canteen in boys hostel as well as girls hostel. The canteen is also there in academic block. Every room in the hostel is equipped with AC and every floor has 2 geysers. The accomodation for hostel is necessary in this college.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
