- The crowd/Campus Life is really amazing. All of the seniors and sweet and always eager to assist us.
- Infrastructure and facilities are really good.
Dislikes
- Auditorium has not been renovated in years.
- Sports equipment is bought yearly , which should be more frequent.
Remarks :
Reputed College, also known as SRCC of South Campus. My elder cousins recommended me this college. No group discussions , interviews or Written test for admission other then CUET. College has latest equipments for science labs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it is very vast and also gives me free time for other things. Good teachers/faculty, more then qualified. Exams are held timely, delay is very rare. No major issues regarding anything.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not opt for any interships because I was busy with several NGOs that I had signed up with. Plus the societies are really active in our college so you have to choose one or the other. I chose to go with NGOs and societies.
Placement Experience :
Placement Cell of our college is very active. Internship fair is also held every year, which is a great place for starters and other to add to their CV and experiences. I wish to pursue Civil Services after my graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
University Fees-2940 College Welfare Fund-4300 College Development Fund-1800 College Facilities and Services-9835 Weaker Student's Support Fund -700 The fees is increasing every year, last year it was 16k, not it is 19.8k.
Campus Life :
Nexus- Annual Fest. Held in March or April. Library has very diverse books and in good numbers. Projectors in classrooms. Inter/Intra department and college sports competitions are held regularly. Same with other activities. Happy Club is run by students themselves.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
