Likes
- The college ground is much big to enjoy seamless sporting experience. And tennis court is just cherry on the cake. Recently badminton court was also built
- The college rock garden provides natural surrounding to sit peacefully after tedious study schedule.
Dislikes
- The college washrooms pose some problems. Bathroom in some building are very bad and can't be used
- College auditorium is closed since many years and every effort has gone in vail to reopen it .
Remarks :
My parents and my well-wishers suggested me that Venkateswara College is one of the most reputable college of south campus with good facilities and health faculty. The college drainage system is bad ... water always fills up the road during heavy rain
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to go for economics hons but due to lower score couldn't get it and thus according to the preference sheet was able to get ba programme with this combination eco+stats. The faculty members are much experienced and hold regular assessment tests
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have applied for SRIVIPRA internship. The placement cell regularly drops internship messages on group and student of different backgrounds can opt for it and the cell establishes direct link between the companies and the students.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is so active and useful for new and skilled students. A lot of big and know companies have ties with the placement cell. Our placement cell also organise internship fair where so many students finds number of good opportunities.

Campus Life :
The societies of the college are very active and I'm myself also enrolled in ncc ....the societies and club create such an vibrant atmosphere in the college apart from studies segment. Various departments hold 3-4 annual sport during a year . Various coaching of sport's are also held
Hostel Facilities :
No I have not opted for hostel bus has listened from my mates that accomodation facilities are fine in the hostel but the food quality is not up to the mark and kids sometime experience health issues.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
