Remarks :
This specific course of BTech in Bioinformatics in Mumbai is only available in this college with a good faculty and well equipped Lab. Plus the extra is you get an extra subject of Data Science in every semester
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is good and very well informed with the office and the exam cell is very well maintained. The course is taken to get idea how computers can be useful in biology and how much we can understand the biology of our body more accurately with computer and AI
Internships Opportunities :
The internship placed by college is available only for top students of the course in Tata Memorial Centre for Advanced Cancer Treatment Research Centre for semester 8 Dissertation project others have to take their own internship search.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is average the cell tries to get you place in more of just a data entry or cdm role rather than course related fields . Mostly students have been gone for higher studies for better packages in future
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It is 2L/year and no scholarships are available. Exam fees for per semester is 1000 which increase rs 100 every semester. Lab charges 500 every alternate semester even if you don’t use Labs.
Campus Life :
Social life is not that great and the campus is very over rated actually no campus it’s just a building with a very small ground that even for staff parking. So not a good option if you are looking for good campus and social life m.

SNDT,MA Psychology
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.
Symbiosis School of Economics
Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
