This college was close to my residence. I was admitted into the college based on my board results and there was a small interview with the admission head of the college. There is a management quota for people who have not scored well which is 4 lakhs fifty five thousand per year
I chose this course as i have deeply love biology and also love technology. The faculty has doctorates and masters in their respective fields. The term exams were not timely at all and caused a lot of confusion and stress to all the first semester students and did not give us a great start to our college life.
I am planning on opting for a internship in semester 3 once I gain a little experience and start learning and studying about my degree but from the people who have interned at the college during the 7th and 8th semester, it is very good learning opportunity about how working life is like.
The placements and job opportunities are said to be great as almost everyone who has graduated from this college has a received a job. The curriculum also mandates interning in the 7th and 8th semester which is a great thing The highest package is 40 lakhs per annum my plan after the degree is to go abroad and to my masters in biotechnology or an MBA
The fees for the first year is two lakhs fifty five thousand and for the rest of the three years is is 2 lakhs forty five thousand per year. There is an examination fee of fifteen thousand that has to be paid later.
There are many fests in which different clubs participate and everyone gets to participate in it and showcase their talents. The books and journals are VERY scarce and are rarely available in the library. Extracurricular activities on campus are plenty which is a great thing.
The canteen in the college is not good and does not serve any quality food. Food of average quality is served. They have only 3-4 dishes commonly ordered by the mass is very average tasting. There are multiple restaurants around the college which are far better. I do not live in a hostel but from the friends that do, i hear the hostel is very expensive and is not a good place to live in
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
