Remarks :
SLSP is the fifth best law college in the country according to the NIRF rankings. Its reputation along with a safe location like Pune for me to study outside the state that I hail from were the two major deciding factors. To get admission, one has to write the SLAT entrance.The first round is an objective mcq test out of 60 marks. The second round is a written round where we have to submit a write up on an impromptu topic. There is the Personal Interview round where the faculty members and panellists evaluate the candidate. I had scored 48 in my SLAT written exam, the cut off varies every year according to the difficulty of the exam. Meanwhile for the PI-WAT rounds, having good knowledge of current affairs would help. My clat and slat preparation coincided therefore the preparation strategy that is utmost important is reading newspapers especially the editorial section, building your reading speed and working on your logical/quantitative aptitude too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen BBA LLB (hons) which is an integrated five years course. Another option that is available is BA LLB Hons. If you want to go more into business/corporate sector then having a BBA degree with LLB would be great for your CV. The faculty is quite interactive and well researched in their field. The lectures are well spaced out so that students have adequate time to focus on extra curriculars. Exam happens once every semester and the difficulty level is moderate. If you are consistent and well read with the study material, one can score very well.
Internships Opportunities :
The college puts out internship opportunities through the CPD cell. But we are free to intern as per our discretion and areas of interest. I am currently interning under the AOR to the Supreme Court Adv. Zoheb Hossain who is the Special Counsel to the ED.
Placement Experience :
There is a Career and Professional Development Cell in the college responsible for the placement of the students in their fifth year. The process is very streamlined. But one must have a good CGPA, Mooting achievements and publications to get placed in top tier firms.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee per annum costs upto 4Lakhs and the payment happens every semester where it ranges between 2-2.5L.This is the tution fees solely.There are no other lab fees or other charges taken during the course. There are scholarships available for those students who top the batch in terms of their CGPA. There are no additional charges for books since it is provided by the college book bank itself and can be returned once each semester is over.
Campus Life :
In terms of campus life, SLSP really stands out with its fest SYMBHAV which is the one of the biggest cultural fests in Pune. It usually happens in March- April and have been attended by celebrities like Karan Johar, Mohit Chauhan, Shaan etc. Viman Nagar is the heart of Pune so the location is very college centric and filled with students making it quite safe. Sports is given a lot of importance by the University and is funded by them. All mooting activities as well as debates are reimbursed by the college. SLSP also has a rich MUN culture. Even though the campus is not the most physically extravagant, its extra curricular activities and social life surely is. The Student Advisory Board is the body of the student community in the college which comprises of different cells that students can partake in for eg human rights, music, dance, program coordination, academic and research, corporate etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I am staying in an apartment with my batchmates in Viman Nagar locality. I did stay in the hostel for a brief period in my first year. Tulip hostel is well maintained with good infrastructure and safety. I had issues adjusting with the hostel food which is why I moved out to an apartment.

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
