As any aspiring law student knows, SLS Pune is one of the top law schools in India and the top private law college, it is best suited for corporate law for future placement. For admission, we first have to take the written exam, we can take it for 2 days and apply for eligibility for other campuses as well. After the written paper, a call letter for personal interview is provided on the college website according to how well the student did on the exam, they get it for different campuses.
It is different and more integrated than other private law colleges. It is detailed for the very first year, most of the courses have 45 sessions and law courses hold more credits as compared to the BA & BBA courses. Offs are only given on national holidays. The professors are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields and teach us with great interest. During the semester, we have 3 exams, the first internal is written while the second it assignment-based. The syllabus for the first internal is vast and takes a toll on the student if they haven't started prior, assignment based mid-term is focused on testing our knowledge through application-based questions and are quite interesting. The end sem syllabus is vast but with enough prep it can be easily dealt with.

Scholarships are available for international as well NRI students offering financial aid based on merits and needs.the total course fee tends to rise yearly, so planning accordingly is advisable.

We have a smart board, mic, and a cooler but not an Air Conditioner in the classroom, which is of a typical structure that is observed in any school. Often students opt for PGs for flats because of food quality, at the start of my year, the food quality was horrible but gradually it has improved in my opinion, it is not worth the one lakh you have to pay for food in the mess. Once u have decided to stay in the hostel, you have to write an email for a room to the college coordinator, stating your liking of the room whether for 2 / 3 sharing. the total rent for a room is around 2.5LPA or 3LPA depending on the time of room u have taken, AC is not provided and during the summer, you have to pay around 800 to the hostel for a cooler per month.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
