Dislikes
- The tuition and living expenses can be steep for some people especially those from financially modest backgrounds.
- While the faculty is experiences, their availability outside of class for a one-on-one mentorship can be improved to provide personalized guidance to students.
Remarks :
Factors in deciding SLS, Pune They have a strong academic curriculum and they keep on updating their courses on an year to year basis to keep up with recent times. Vibrant campus life which provides lots of opportunities, from international moots to publications to volunteering. They also have a good NIRF ranking and a decent repute all over India. I had to appear for SLAT (SLS conducts their own examination for admission to 4 different SLS campuses i.e. Pune, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Noida). Post clearing the exam, I appeared for a WAT (Written Ability Test) and subsequently, the final round was PI (Personal Interview).
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teaching faculty consists of highly qualified professors with PHD in law who engages in various teaching methods and utilizes optimum aids like ppts, videos, smartboards, case studies to integrate practical and theoretical aspects of business and law. The exams are not so difficult to pass, although it is pretty difficult to score more than 8/8.5 GPA as grading is done on a bell curve.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities vary from legal roles to non-legal roles. Law firms, in house teams at leading MNC's, Public policy organizations, think tanks, banks, and more. I personally went to Punjab State Human Rights Commission to intern for a month, an opportunity which was shared by my college.
Placement Experience :
GPA is very essential amongst other things to get a good placement, roughly 150 students get placed every year in leading law firms, companies, banks, law chambers and more. The highest packages are offered by tier 1 law firms i.e. around 16-20 lacs per annum, with average package around 8-11 lacs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees include tuition, library, IT services, subscriptions to various legal databases, reference books for some select subjects on ownership basis, other books can be taken for 7-14 days /one semester depending on library rules and availability and allied services offered by college. It does not include hostel fees/accommodation fees.
Campus Life :
Life at campus would significantly depend on the kind of company one has, because I have encountered a vibrant diversity in the students at SLS. With respect to amenities, they are top-notch and a sincere student would not face any hindrances due to lack to amenities. There are no student run clubs/social groups, everything is regulated by the college and the faculties are made a overseeing member of the same.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
