Remarks :

I've always loved the ambience of the college and it was my dream to study here. I gave the entrance test that Jamia conducts. The cut off for JK students went around 52 percent and I got in. Cut off for general was 62

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is great, syllabus has been framed to make you understand everything about your subject. You have a little of every aspect. The exams are conducted yearly, per semester. One external of 75 marks and one internal of 25 marks.

Internships Opportunities :

No,I haven't yet opted for internship and I am unaware about the procedure yet. Though I think they provide excellent opportunities for internships, PhD students get stipend also. It's great for learning.

Placement Experience :

I don't have any knowledge about placements yet. But I think there's a 50-50 chance you'd get a good placements, in some courses you're offered to go foreign universities but you have to have good English speaking for that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per semester you have to pay almost 8000 and there are two semesters per course, so it rounds upto 16000. There is no releif for category students. The fee remains the same for everyone. You can avail scholarships from the University and the details get shared to your profile on My Jamia portal

Campus Life :

Campus is beautiful, green and lush. Ambience is great, you feel really good there. Students are vibrant, peaceful environment, no ragging, no bullying, just everyone minding their own buisness. We have canteens, clubs, book launch events, student associations.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel procedure is lengthy and hectic. You have to fill the online form then submit the hard copy along with some documents in the provost office. The annual fee sums up to around 30k. But not everyone gets hostel, it's only for students who live really far away.

Distance learning along with fun.

Placement Experience :

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

DU Experience Packed with Learning, Practical Skills, and Dedicated Student Portfolio

Placement Experience :

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Placement Experience :

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
