I've always loved the ambience of the college and it was my dream to study here. I gave the entrance test that Jamia conducts. The cut off for JK students went around 52 percent and I got in. Cut off for general was 62
The curriculum is great, syllabus has been framed to make you understand everything about your subject. You have a little of every aspect. The exams are conducted yearly, per semester. One external of 75 marks and one internal of 25 marks.
No,I haven't yet opted for internship and I am unaware about the procedure yet. Though I think they provide excellent opportunities for internships, PhD students get stipend also. It's great for learning.
I don't have any knowledge about placements yet. But I think there's a 50-50 chance you'd get a good placements, in some courses you're offered to go foreign universities but you have to have good English speaking for that.
Per semester you have to pay almost 8000 and there are two semesters per course, so it rounds upto 16000. There is no releif for category students. The fee remains the same for everyone. You can avail scholarships from the University and the details get shared to your profile on My Jamia portal
Campus is beautiful, green and lush. Ambience is great, you feel really good there. Students are vibrant, peaceful environment, no ragging, no bullying, just everyone minding their own buisness. We have canteens, clubs, book launch events, student associations.
The hostel procedure is lengthy and hectic. You have to fill the online form then submit the hard copy along with some documents in the provost office. The annual fee sums up to around 30k. But not everyone gets hostel, it's only for students who live really far away.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
