- Infrastructure was overall outstanding ,our mega auditorium in our college was one of the best the kashmir valley,campus life was overall best,faculty was good and student friendly but the problem lies 8n overall education and productivity of students
Dislikes
- Sopprt from sports department was not good ther were running their department only for their funds and doesn't lay any kind of emphasis to help to upgrade students sports life
Remarks :
It was nearest to my home location and it takes me nearly 40 minutes to reach there and the program that i had choosen was cost friendly.No, I didn't face any interview or written test in 2019 for my admission it was simply filling up of form whether through online or offline mode and filling up of course fee.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Qualifications of faculty members was outstanding their method of teaching was also great and they were overall student friendly but the problems is there at thar time no class exams,no frequent written tests,no presentations,no group discussion ,. Teachers also don't ever try to increase students mental,critical,analytical ability. Practical sessions was not of that much standard.our sports department was student friendly but the physical activities that were to be held officially within or outside our campus was totally biased and there complete nepotism ,no proper authorised selection were held..
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't opted for any internship programm yet I continued my academic journey through renowned kashmir university by opting for law course after graduation and there are much more availability of internship programmes in our law campus
Placement Experience :
No placements or any kind of job opportunity session were held in our college during or college programm.After my end of course I further continued my academic journey and went up to take admission in our renowned kashmir university
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our yearly fees was near about 10000 that sums upto near 30000 for full program which is of 3 years actually took 4 years due to covid19. I once availed scholarship in one of the semesters after 2020 that was around 6000 and was the only one from pmsss scheme.
Campus Life :
Environment at our campus is healthy and was nature and student friendly. Infrastructure is also best Library is also best and their is also the availability of its essentials. Sports and extracurricular activities are held but the sports department doesn't focus to nurture the sportsmanship of individual. The department activities ate totally biased and ther are running only for their sports funds.
Hostel Facilities :
No their is no availability of hostel as it,s nearest to all those students who studies there .whenever there're night activities going to be held,their is availability of mini auditorium,their is not a permanent mess rather a temporary mess for occasional purposes.

For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

Course Curriculum Overview :
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Know About SMVDU
Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
